Zheng Yang
Zheng Yang is currently the second year student of Master degree at the Central Conservatory of Music. She entered the Central Conservatory of Music in 2010 and received tutorship from Professor Yang Shou Cheng. In 2014, she gained admission into the Master program of Central Conservatory of Music Master ,as the top student of her batch. In the same year, She received the first grade scholarship award, and obtained the excellent performance award of the Fifth National Art Academy Chinese Instruments Competition, held by Ministry of Culture of the Peopleās Republic of China.
During her school days, she performed and recorded 50 pieces of Sheng works, such as Capriccio- Composed for Sheng and Chinese Orchestra and Twelve songs- Composed for Sheng Solo. Zheng Yang has performed in Japan, Canada and America. She has worked with ensembles such as the Germany E-max, Zafraan Ensemble, Windkraft Ensemble and Singapore Ding Yi Music Company.
