Classical dance studies in Riga, Latvia 1979 - 1986. Studies of modern jazz, afro, release technics in Paris, Cologne, Durham (USA) 1990 - 1995. Ballet artist in Riga Concert association and Riga's Musical Comedy Theatre 1982 - 1989. Practice and study of Hatha Yoga under guidance of Sw Amrit Mahamedha 1989 - to present. Freelance dancer, choreographer, teacher and yoga instructor 1989 - to present. Also participated in independent modern dance productions and an occasional show dance; solo performances in Riga, Cologne, Vilnius, Tallinn, Berlin. Currently interested in dance as a state of contemplation. Focusing on dance through the basic elements - earth, water, fire, air & space - as well as their energies, mythology and archetypes, rewards us with an awareness of the consonance between the transitory and the eternal. From fragile to majestic, vibrations of the enigmatic travel frequently called life.
